Golden Ispat Ltd. (GIL) was established as a rebar manufacturer in the year 2017. It is one of the latest ventures of the Mostafa-Hakim Group. The Mostafa-Hakim group was formed in 1960 as a construction firm. In 1984 the group started as a ship demolition and recycling business. Today the group deals with a diverse range of products and services. The group has made its mark in areas like ship demolition & rebar production, manufacturing of cement, auto bricks, oxygen, LPG, textile, real estate, importing & distribution, by establishing unrivaled quality and reliability in all the products and services it has been providing since the last four decades.

Currently, our annual MS Bar production capacity is 2, 50,000 MT. We are aiming to increase our production capacity 6, 00,000 MT from the March 2021 through our second production unit H M Steel. H M Steel is the newest and largest MS Bar production units of the Mostafa Hakim Group.

The confidence and reliability of the people in the construction industry have motivated us to produce international grade, high-quality Rebar. We always deliver the highest quality products in Bangladesh as per various national and international standards, without fail. The introduction of Golden Ispat Ltd. has all the potentials to take Bangladesh quite a few steps forward to a stronger, brighter future.

Golden Ispat is committed to the sustainability and safety of the construction industry. GIL has adopted the internationally recommended energy efficient technology, “Direct Hot Rolling” (DHR) with “Quenching and Tempering” (Q&T) process, for the first time ever in Bangladesh. Energy Efficient Technology “Direct Hot Rolling” (DHR) Process has been implemented by UNDP in partnership with the global environment facilities. This process has emerged as the newest high-performing revolutionary for the rebar industry.

Golden Ispat plays a major role in developing the country’s infrastructure by producing international standard TMT 500W and 420W re-bar in fully automatic rolling mills with integrated DHR technology.
